This year’s National Tipper and Bulk Haulage Show sees the launch of the first ever Tip-ex Haulier of the Year Award, sponsored by MAN Truck and Bus UK Ltd.
The prestigious accolade will go to the outstanding tipping and bulk haulage operator of the year. It will be presented to the winner at the Tip-ex gala dinner on Saturday May 26th 2012.
A panel of independent industry judges will decide which company merits the Award and its decision will be based on the winner’s record of sound financial management and an all round commitment and dedication to the following:
- Professionalism
- Customer care
- Safety
- Training
- The Environment
The winning company will also need to show the active measures it has taken to improve service levels and how it has grown in both size and profitability.
Entries should include the most recent financial accounts, VOSA OCRS score and evidence of:
- High levels of customer satisfaction (including customer testimonials or details of customers we can contact for feedback)
- Accident and incident rates for the past two years
- Evidence of innovation
- Evidence of efforts to reduce carbon emissions
- Evidence of any other outstanding successes
Entry to the Tip-ex Haulier of the Year Award is free and it is open to any company running 11 or more vehicles over 32t gvw operating in the tipping and bulk haulage sector. The closing date for entries is April 6th 2012.
