Tip-ex Tipper Haulier of the Year Award Finalists chosen
The finalists for the first ever Tip-ex Tipper Haulier of the Year Award have now been announced.
They are Malcolm Construction, Paul Smart Transport and Hargreaves Transport Services.
The three finalists were narrowed down from an impressive field of entrants, all of whom submitted high quality entries.
Malcolm Construction (part of the Malcolm Group), provides civil engineering and groundwork services and boast the largest tipper fleet in Scotland.
Bristol-based Paul Smart Transport operates 13 vehicles, mainly in the tipper aggregate and asphalt industry.
Hargreaves Transport Services (part of Hargreaves Services Group), moves nearly 10m tonnes of material a year and is based near Durham.
The independent judges were particularly impressed by the high standard of entries and said the highly professional approach to running their businesses shone through from all three finalists.
Sponsored by MAN Truck and Bus UK Ltd, the prestigious accolade will be awarded to the most outstanding tipping and bulk haulage operator of the year.
The winner will be announced at the Tip-ex Awards and Gala dinner which will be held at the Majestic Hotel, Harrogate on Saturday 26th May.
There will also be an Innovation Award sponsored by Commercial Motor, which will be made to the exhibitor who, in the opinion of Commercial Motor Magazine, show the best innovation in product or service at the Show.
